CLAYTON, NC — Once again, the apparel vendor contacted the business office regarding the windshirt vest stock. Due to a busy golf season and lacking inventory, the apparel will be upgraded again from $50 Cutter & Buck to $70 Ashworth Windshirt Vests at no charge.

"This is absolutely fantastic news," said Greg Long on Monday. "This is great insurance in case my game goes south. These nice vests will surely hide a poor golf game."

Jason Watson had a similar, but different take on the second upgrade. "Not all bad things are bad for everyone," said Watson. "Pokey's image is sure to improve. Slick, OlaFowble and Rick Dosky are going to look great when not wearing their Golden Jackets. Just a great error."

The $36 Devon & Jones windshirt vests are discontinued and Cutter & Buck vests are out of stock with only 2 weeks remaining. The $70 Ashworth Windshirt Vests may have surpassed the best overall value in the history of tournament. The $24 greens fee with cart at Mountain Valley currently holds the top spot.

When rookie David Neill heard about the upgrade, he replied, "I am not an avid golfer, but what is better than Ashworth. I guess we wait until tomorrow and see."
