Munksgard takes Zero
April 10, 2003
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Jon Munksgard, a 2003 rookie has started off with a terrible round approaching an all-time Carl Spackler Open 12 point round of golf at Cypress Point in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Munksgard, which will square off in 62 short days in his first major championship is now wondering if the Czervic pants will fit like a O.J. Simpson glove.
"I really was thinking about my bowling tournament instead of golf, but I think some adjustments need to be made soon or just bring the size 36-38 pants." Munksgard scored zero points on the back nine and two bogeys on the front. "My game really goes down hill when I don't play in Pennsylvania", said Munksgard. "It might be how the club house mixes the Captains Morgan in Pennsylvania, but I have not put my finger on it."
The Vice President of Golf Instruction, Tom McCauley, heard about Munksgard's outing late Sunday evening. "I am very disappointed and shaken by the score posted by Jon. I will pray for him as no golf instruction will not be able to fix him by June 12.
