Miller Breaking 100

July 31, 2006

PARKERSBURG, WV — Scott Miller broke 100 three weeks ago for the first time in 3 years. He followed up a great "Scott Miller" round breaking 100 again just last week. The dual set of rounds near his home are the first back-to-back double-digit rounds in recent memory.

"One great round is easy. Two great rounds require notice. Three great rounds is a trend," says fellow hacker and Golden Jacket winner Shawn Long. "Miller is on his way to better golf regardless if he is playing the senior tees."

Miller has been participating in the Virtual Tournament from his home course in Parkersburg, WV. The Worthington Golf Club boasts a 5,863-yard course filled with elevation changes. Miller continues to be uneffected by the creek that flows throughout the course and along side several holes.

"Things are great right now," says Miller. "Worthington suits my game really well and provides unmeasured fun."

Miller does continue to struggle for pars, which has been the lone contributor for mid-30 point rounds in July. Miller must step it up and become more aggressive player in order to move up the leaderboard.

There are 5 months left in the Virtual Tournament. Jean Dore has the caboose while Scott Zavinski drives the 2006 Spackler engine.
