WARREN, PA — The Carl Spackler Open took a moment to remind everyone the importance of the website as a portal for golfing information. As the tournament continues to grow, the Captains Club has increased the services online and asks everyone to updated their accounts and profile information.

"We are very excited about our new website and what it brings to our wonderful community," says Mike Davis, Vice President of the Zavinski 100. "We have expanded our outlook towards national exposure and also hope we can continue to exceed expectations."

A complete account supplies the computer an opportunity to conform to individual preferences and golfing history. The computer then uses the information to improve golfer usability in many areas including scorecard entry. The Captains Club believes approximately 70% of all account and profile information has been collected.

The player profiles control the course surveys, email generation and more importantly establish communication throughout the large group. The preferences within each golfer profile also allows each golfer to transfer ownership of their account to another member of the Carl Spackler Open.

"This is pretty important information with the next tournament registration right around the corner," said Mike Davis.

Mike Davis submitted his latest round at Jackson Valley last week. He shot a 3-over 75 with just one birdie. The round was good for 35 points.

Scott Zavinski still holds the top spot in the 2006 Virtual Tournament. Jean Dore continues to have a strong hold on last place while the Carl Spackler holds 56th position.
