Swapping Outfits

COLUMBUS, OH — The Carl Spackler Outfit is transferable. The leader of amateur golf tournaments, the Carl Spackler Open, made an impressive move forward when Greg Long asked Carl Spackler to swap outfits for the day.

"I never thought some simple advice on grass would result in such a swap," said Greg Long, Chairman of the Captains Club.

Long provided some unwanted fertiziler advice, when Carl Spackler snapped and said, "I'm an assistant greenskeeper. They say that doesn't mean anything until I'm the head greenskeeper, but why don't we change jobs and see how you do."

The swap of responsibility quickly stormed through Bushwood with Carl Spackler actually playing a stress-free round of golf. The two started the next day with switching outfits.

"People say I'm an idiot because all I do is cut lawns for a living," said Carl. This is a great change of pace." Long replied, "People don't say that about you, as far as you know."

Carl replied, "Well, I'm working on it just so you know. I'll be the head greenskeeper hopefully within six years. That is my aggressive schedule."

Long finished fertiziling and jumped a golf cart headed to Hole 12, where a trench needed to be dug for some must needed drainage. Carl Spackler rocketed the ball off the tee and walked the fairway with a stress-free smile.

Both Carl Spackler and Long met up for dinner later that day before returning outfits.
