JACKSON, MI — Trent Cooper, Dave Nickles and George Seidel signed the dotted line and are expected to play golf in the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship in Michigan. The 3 golfers plan to return after posting very respectable scores in the 2006 tournament.

George Seidel, a professor at the University of Michigan, registers with this year's home field advantage. He is the first from the state of Michigan. He returns after placing 12th in Raleigh and resides just 45 minutes from the golf course.

"He plays golf like a 35-year old," says Robby Fustich after his scramble round last June. "He has enough fire in that 180 pound frame to win the Jacket. I was quite surprised to see the fire in his eyes. Slick says the fire was the Jim Beam, but that is load of bull."

Trent Cooper, a.k.a. Coop, and Dave Nickles, a.k.a. Nickleback, both sign to represent a much stronger state of Virginia. Nickles, who placed 11th during his rookie tournament, is in great position to take the tournament by storm. Cooper, who placed 19th, took home a share of the Stroke Award with 36 long putt points.

"I am glad to see both guys back," said Captains Club member Kevin Long, Jr. "Cooper reached rock bottom late this summer and in great position for his handicap to explode. Too bad Vegas has no line."

Long continued, "On the hand, golf should be the least of Nickleback's worries. A Carl Spackler Outfit in his closet will be a better outcome than passed out in the hallway again. Thank god we have these logo hats for group indentification. He could have easily been sexually assaulted by a bunch of horny ladies."

The 3-members sign as the 19th, 20th and 21st golfers to participate in the Open Championship. The tournament is scheduled to be played at Grande Golf Club just south of Jackson, MI.
