JACKSON, MI — The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship begins in 107 days. The field is set while the second phase of the tournament begins. The tournament options are now available with selections starting March 8.

The business office has put together several options and preferences for participants wishing to customize their experience.

"We have organized several options this year," says Captains Club member Brian Long at the monthly Captains Club press conference. "The club finalized a few things this month and slipped them into the selector. We are ready to get started in a couple of weeks."

The Options Selector is expected to include 18 options. The process is optional and available for 31 days. The online process can be completed by clicking on a graphic off the homepage and signing-in. Participants are reminded the process can take 15-30 minutes.

"The options are indeed optional," says Long. "All players are encouraged to fill them out, however realize some guys do not have time."

Several options include additional funding and some are absolutely free. Other selections involve personal roommate/partner preferences along with a general collection of information to fully organize the group and establish demand for certain ideas.

"Most of the options will become unavailable for selection after April 8," says Long. "Balances are due to Dosky in just 3 weeks later." The participant balances page will display all payments, credits, and expenses when a golfer is signed into the website.

As a suggestion, golfers should proactively determine their travel times, flight times, review the itinerary, review the participant options, and ensure they have their username and password.

The 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship has finalized its field of 60 players. The number is divisible by 4 and guarantees 15 foursomes and 30 double occupancy rooms.
