126 Hole Validation

March 28, 2007

HOUSTON, TX — Jason Watson and Greg Long will tee it up starting this Saturday in dedication to the Yeunging Brewery in Pottsville, PA. The pair has plans to validate Watson's stroke handicap over 126 holes in honor of America's Oldest Brewery. The validation will including four different courses with a short stop at a PGA Tour Event over the 4-day period.

Long has allegedly been very anxious to make the trip for two important reasons. The first being whether he still has the ability to break 80. The second is to validate Jason "Randy" Watson's 9.2 stroke handicap.

"It's time to see how much rust is in the golf swing," says Greg Long, Chairman of the Captains Club. "It is one thing to break 80 with two kids, but it is another when you have 3 kids in 3 years." Long could become the first married player in Spackler history to break 80 with 3 kids.

Jason Ridgeway responded to the news saying, "It surely would be a record, however a waste of space in such a historical book."

Greg added, "Randy Watson shaved 20 percent of his strokes by simply moving to Texas. That would be 3 or 4 under par for me. Anything in the high-70's would be confidence."

Long added, "There has been countless rumors surrounding Watson's stroke handicap. It has truely been the buzz for 6 months. I would be lying if I said it has not been bothering me. The 2006 Virtual Tournament Champion needs validation. I plan to provide the validation that everyone is looking for."

The pair also plans to visit the PGA Tour at the Shell Houston Open on Sunday. The pair has a tee time early Sunday morning before heading over to the PGA tournament.

"I really like the itinerary and early weather reports," says Jason Watson. "It should be a good time especially if I beat Slick's ass."

Brad Green is rumored to join the two on Sunday morning. The rookie has signed to participate at the 2007 Carl Spackler Open Championship.

"It would be nice to enter the Virtual Tournament on top," says Long. "The weather is supposed to be 80 degrees so weather cannot be used as an excuse. My goal is 65 points per round."

The 2007 Virtual Tournament is expected to heat up next month in the mid-Atlantic as the snow is finally gone, temperatures rising, and grass turning green.
