ALPINE LAKE, WV — The wait is almost over.  15 days until the practice round.  Seems like only yesterday we pulled into Alpine Lake got our visitor tag from Barney Fife at the front gate driving to the cabin (Wilson) and cracking that first beer.

Then walking into the lodge/pro shop like we own the place and seeing Anne’s face take that grasp of air as if she is saying “Ok, here we go what do the next 4 days have in store for us.”

This year the cabin will be available beginning on 9/16 so for those of you that would like to begin the practice round a tad early.  The official practice round will be Wednesday 9/19 beginning at 1:00pm.  The practice round will be followed by dinner at the lodge.  Dinner at the lodge will be followed by cornhole/cards whatnot while greeting the late Wednesday arrivals.
