Poststats.com to Upgrade
February 11, 2008
COLUMBUS, OH — A somewhat new CarlSpacklerOpen.com website is scheduled to be published soon according to several reports out of Columbus, OH this week. The business announcement comes two years after Poststats released Version 2 Beta. The new third beta version is expected to be a considerable technology upgrade unnoticed to its customers.
"We have restructured the pipeline to our data," says Greg Long, COO of Poststats.com, LLC. "The dynamic structure surrounding teams, formats, handicapping, and multiple competition during the same rounds completely overwhelmed the technology. Leagues with substitutions and scheduling was also complex. We have resolved these issues with scoring improvements."
Poststats.com, LLC will upgrade its suite of services sometime in late-February or early March 2008. The change will supply much more flexibility and tremendous development opportunities for the company.
"We are done with our conversion to Java," says Long. "We will be finishing many hours of testing for the remainder of the month."
The general member should not notice a difference to the websites. The common user will notice several immediate efficiencies. The number of enhancements due prior to Memorial Day Weekend is 214 and growing each day.
Long added, "Our websites have seen virtually zero enhancements over the past year as we reworked the existing system. Version 3 will provide a very sound foundation that is essential for the future. Enhancements will arrive quickly after the transition."
The immediate future of Poststats.com LLC will be the conversion to Version 3 beta. Then spending months on simplifying the websites to gain further usability while targeting golf trips of 4 to 8 golfers. The summer will be spent researching leagues and their hundreds scoring formats or systems.
Poststats.com opened league management last spring to several communities.
"We have hundreds of enhancements in the pipeline," said Long. "Our new version is expected to realign the system with the latest technology for large growth."
Poststats.com, LLC is a future provider of services supporting amateur sports entertainment. The online company will serve as the main portal to national sports communities created from individual amateurs for many amateur sports with scoresheets including golf, baseball, bowling, basketball, and football.
