Cattle Annies
June 8, 2009
LYNCHBURG, VA — Why go to bed when you can have another drink? At Cattle Annie's across the street from the choice lodging for the Carl Spackler Open, the party marches into the late, late hours, as they have one of the best all-night parties.
Cattle Annie's is Central Virginia's premier venue for live music and concert events. The facility is large enough for national artists, yet small and intimate.
"Cattle Annies is a Joe Muscaro 6-iron from the Quality Inn," says Greg Garrett, Vice President of Online Scoring. "He needs a big bounce in the Lynchburg Inn parking lot and over the hotel to get it there, but I have confidence in his ability to get his ball into the Cattle Annies front door."
Garrett added, "The place probably stacks 1,500 patrons into this place on a good night. It is really a large facility."
From custom pool tables to a 4000-plus square-foot dance floor, Cattle Annie's offers plenty of diversions for a fun night on the town. The spacious, all-purpose venue draws big crowds each week, thanks to ever-changing promotions: karaoke parties, dance lessons, live music, and plenty of moneymaker-shaking to country, classic rock, and Top 40 hits.
"Cattle Annies has the largest dance floor in the state," says Garrett. "The restaurant, game room, and live music should be perfect for our event."
Folks can also fan the competitive fires playing NTN iTV, an interactive game network that features sports games and trivia. What's more, Cattle Annie's serves tasty fare, from standard pub grub to sit-down dishes like steaks, grilled tuna, and prime rib.
There is 'country line dancing lessons' and additional line dancing on Wednesday and Thursday night from 6:30PM to 8:30PM. There is karoke starting around 8:30PM on Thursday night. The restaurant will also be open.
There is Top 40 dancing with DJ on Friday night. The cover charge starts at $5.00 and moves upward throughout the night. The cover hits its maximum of $7.00 at 11:00PM.
There will be live music (Richmond band called 'Danger County') on Saturday night. The cover charge starts at $5.00 and moves upward throughout the night. The cover hits its maximum of $7.00 at 11:00PM.
The 2009 Carl Spackler Open Championship will be held in Amherst and Lynchburg, VA. There are nearly half of the participants (41) with hotel reservations at the Quality Inn starting tommorrow night.
