Dieterle Can't Decide

March 3, 2004

COLUMBUS, OH — With March Madness right around the corner, Max has a big decision to make...which team to cheer for in the NCAA Tournament.

While many of us have the luxury of cheering for the team we attended and graduated from, Buck Fever Dieterle is burdened with a decision with every game that he watches.  You see, he hit the trifecta in his post-high school education.  If there is a college sporting event on television, it's likely two of his schools are playing.

"This year, my ideal Championship game would be Indiana vs. Notre Dame, because let's be honest, Ohio State doesn't stand a chance," quipped Dieterle.  Indiana and Notre Dame already faced off once this season, to a 66-63 buzzer-beating shootout.  "The greatest part of that game was that no matter who won the game...it was my school!"

"I am so tired of his teams winning every single year," growled Randy Watson of Jackson Heights, "I mean, JHU never even makes it to the Big Dance!"

This year, while Max is mulling over which of his 16 alma maters to win the East Regionals, we can all pick our Cinderella teams as well.

Quackenheimerstein built a little NCAA Tourney web site so that we can all make our picks, talk some smack, and quite possibly win some big cash.  The winners of his tournament last year took home over $900.  That would pay for a couple of trips to GVIII, maybe even a few p'roni rolls as well.

Tell your friends, heck, tell your Momma...http://www.thencaatourney.com is ready for action.  See you there.  The teams will be announced at 8:00 PM on March 14th, 2004.
