WARREN, PA — Playing well, yet putting poorly, Jimmy Campbell began to wonder when he would win again. He got somewhat of an answer this weekend when a 33-over 104 allowed him to hold a strong position on the field of players.

As a rookie this season, Campbell has a dream of victory in 2004. "I have been hitting the ball as well or better than Munksgard, Big Kev, or Lewis, but I have been just worthless on the greens," said Campbell, who used a new putter this week. "I am pleased with my consistency all around the course. Right now, I?ll trade anything for a win."

Campbell, who has played only 2 rounds in 2004, is expected to enter the On Tour Championship leaderboard in the Top 10 with 39 points per round.  He played Jackson Valley this past week during league, started well, but then stumbled on No. 3 with a double-digit 10. When he rolled in 7-footer for par at No. 4, his confidence seemed back on track.

Campbell is one of the most consistent players on tour. Of his 6 rounds on tour, all have been in the 100?s or 110's. "My goal is bogey-golf. I?m getting better each day and expect to give it my best in the 2004 Carl Spacker Open Championship.

Jim receives 1 for triple bogey and double bogey, 3 for bogey, and 5 points for par.
