MOUNT STERLING, KY — The 2014 Carl Spackler Open begins in 74 days and the second phase of the tournament ends in two weeks. The participant options started on February 14 with nearly half the golfers communicating their desires by March 1. There are is 14 days left to complete options.
"Most of the options will be removed from selection on March 14," says senior member Marty Zabonik. "Outstanding balances are due in the mail to Rick Dosky three weeks later." The participant balances page will display all payments, credits, and expenses when a golfer is signed into the website.
"Our staff has put together a strong package," added Zabonik. "A lot of work and now it is your turn. Finalize your options and get your money in. Don't forget playing golf in my foursome in Kentucky is a lottery based system due to heavy demand."
The online options can be selected by visiting www.carlspackleropen.com, signing-in, and clicking on "PLAN YOUR TRIP TODAY" graphic. All players are encouraged to fill them out, however the show will go on regardless.
"Golfers can click 'Pay Balance' to view their detailed balance," says Bateson. "The tools and information to pay the balance is also located at the web page. Outstanding balances must be postmarked by April 7, 2014."
The 2014 Carl Spackler Open begins first round play on Thursday, May 15. There are 68 golfers expected to attend the annual event.
