Format, Teams, Pairings and Tee Times announced

COLUMBUS, OH — With just 3 weeks before the Quackenbush Cup gets under way, Brian "Chef" Watson held his press conference from the bar at York Golf Club to announce all of the pertinent details about this year's event. "We are proud to announce that York Golf Club has agreed to host this year's Quackenbush Cup. Unlike past years, instead of having 2 teams plating a Ryder Cup like format, we have decided to play straight 2 Man Best Ball. This will give us 12 teams to compete for the prize and title of Team Champion. The team champion will be determined by using the best MELC score of each team on each hole to arrive at a total score. Additionally, we will also award a prize for highest individual MELC, a Long Drive and Closest to the Pin, both on holes yet to be determined."
Now, here to announce the pairings and tee times for August 1 is Chairman Jeff "Quack" Blankenburg.

And please don't forget that this is a marathon, not a sprint, as immediately following the Quackenbush Cup, we will proceed to the Dublin Irish Festival for Music, Food, Libations and the Cornhole Tournament. Once things wrap up at the DIF, everyone has been invited back to the Flanagan residence to continue the festivities.
