No Good Pars
July 23, 2004
GAHANNA, OH — "Someone needs to tell Jason Ridgeway that pars are killing him," says Tom McCauley. "He needs birdies because his scorecards are just boring."
Jason Ridgeway shot another 15 pars at Bent Tree this week for 43 points. He had a lone birdie and two bogeys with one coming on Hole #1.
"He plays consistently with pars," says Pritchard. "I wish my biggest problem was a boring game with lots of pars." Jason Ridgeway comes off a horrible round in Cincinnati where his clubs where thrown, slammed, and obscenities where screamed for all to hear.
It is quite obvious that Jason is moving into a slump. "I am just not making birdie putts," says Ridgeway. "I have a plan to go out there and put the ball in places that give me a chance. I just do not execute on the greens."
Ridgeway moves into 8th place for the On Tour Championship and leads players from Ohio with 40.9 points per round.
