GROVE CITY, OH — Reports surfaced late yesterday evening that the 2004 Kitchen Pass Award winner, Rick Dosky, recently had a Kitchen Pass revoked for an 18-hole outing back on July 18, 2004, according to our sources.  Dosky was clearly annoyed that the story broke, but downplayed the incident.

?I?m not entirely sure who leaked this, but when I am, I?ll make sure that I have a good discussion with this individual.  I want to make sure that there won?t be anymore public relations mistakes,? said Dosky.  ?Anyway, this wasn?t really that big of a deal.  I floated the idea of playing at dinner, with the understanding that we?d talk again later in the week, and I decided my schedule was full.  That?s all there was to it.?  

SNN learned that the Fowble family entertained the Dosky family on July 11th, and contacted Tom earlier today.  ?Look, I?ve been over this with all of you guys (the media) time and time again.  Rick suggested that we play golf the following Saturday over dinner, in front of our wives.  I thought he already secured his Kitchen Pass at that point, so I arranged two free 18-hole passes at Cherokee Hills for us by Thursday.  He said then that he hadn?t cleared it with his boss, that he couldn't play, and that was the end of it.  I really think you?re blowing this way out of proportion.  Don?t you guys have anything better to do?  Rick?s a family man, for crying out loud,? said OlaFowble.

This is truly an incredible developing story. Dosky, CFO of the Carl Spackler Open Championship, collected one of the most coveted trophies at the CSOC, the Kitchen Pass Award.  Dosky won the award by sending his wife flowers, increasing in number each day for the number of days he was gone.  Now, it appears as though he will not play another round this summer, and it looks as though his Golfapalooza trip may now be in jeopardy.  SNN will stay on top of this story and will bring you breaking news as it happens.
