NORFOLK, VA — Glenn Hoffert is back this week to defend his title at Pokey?s 2nd Annual P.W.R.P charity event tomorrow in Virginia Beach, VA.  His victory in the Spring Open was his first championship in his 8-year golfing career.

?I am looking forward to opening a can of whoop ass on Pokey in his tournament?, said a confident Hoffert.  ?Pokey has been talking since the rain out in State College last month and it?s time to move things onto the golf course.?

Pokey has countered by stating, "Golf is so much about confidence.  When you go back to place where you've done well, there are always good memories and you can't wait to come back to the P.W.R.P," Pokey said. "The Cypress Point course just outside Norfolk, VA, for example, fits my game."

Event organizers have went out and found big names in golf.  They are bringing in Frog Legs and 2001 Honoree Hevy Jo to help sell some tickets for an obvious charity.  The P.W.R.P has been raising money for years to help fight against women with lock down policies.

The match is scheduled to play $2 team NOOG point skins where the foursome will be split in two halves where each player will add there NOOG points together on each hole.  The highest score per team will receive a skin.  ?This is what the fans want to see?, said the director of sales.  They want a competitive match between Carl?s top athletes.  The P.W.R.P is predicting a record number of tickets to be sold along with record high revenue.
