TERRA ALTA, WV — In advance of the most anticipated good vs evil match up since Notre Dame's controversial win over Miami in the 1988 Catholics vs Convicts game, team captains, Padre (Holy Rollers) and Spanky (Convicts) stepped to the podium, um sorry, altar and defendant's table respectively, to announce their team selections for this year's edition of the KGB CUP.  Both captains weighed each person's virtues, merit, background oh, yeah and golf game, when making their selections.  While we expect Padre to be quoting motivating scriptures to his team, such as Colossians 3:23-24, Deuteronomy 31:6, Isaiah 40:29-31 and Corinthians 9:24-27, Spanky will quickly remind Padre that Psalms 11:5 says - "The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth." So, without further ado, here are the teams/pairings for this year's KGB CUP:

Group 2: TEAM CONVICTS - SalPal & Bro vs. TEAM HOLY ROLLERS - Alf & Butter

Group 3: TEAM CONVICTS - Scoots & Mr. Randy Watsonahhhh vs. TEAM HOLY ROLLERS - Slick & Scott Long (R)

Group 4: TEAM CONVICTS - Chef & SizeTen vs. TEAM HOLY ROLLERS - Sleepy & Caleb

Group 5: TEAM CONVICTS - FunDan & Dosky vs. TEAM HOLY ROLLERS - Quack & Beef

Padre's Holy Rollers will be wearing the Black & Gold shirts from GXXI (2017) Spanky's Convicts will of course be wearing the Orange shirts from GXVII (2013)
