GLEN ALLEN, VA — Joe Butkus, a rookie from Glen Allen, VA, has signed to play the 2004 On Tour Championship and currently holds 33rd position.  Joe inserts himself into a record 59 player field.  Joe has six scorecards on file with the business office and plans to make amends for his late entry.

"I am glad to join such a great organization", said Butkus.  "Also, I am not related to Dick Butkus."  Joe is averaging 36.3 points per round receiving 1 point for bogey and 5 points for par.  He signs with other players from Glen Allen including Scott Zavinski, Paulo McCluskey, and Mike Herron.

"Everyone can expect his game to be around 95 strokes per round", said Herron. "However, there is no telling what will happen off his hometurf."  Joe's home is the Crossings in Glen Allen, VA, where he has played six times this season.

The 2004 On Tour Championship will conclude on November 30, 2004.  The Red Zone Alert expires in 19 days.
