DUNNELLON, FL — Juliette Falls Golf Club in Dunnellon, Florida, will host the 2026 Carl Spackler Open from April 15–18, 2026, bringing the championship to a course defined by elevation, variety, and strategic shot-making rarely found in Florida golf.

Designed by architect John Sanford and opened in 2007, Juliette Falls is a par-72 layout measuring 7,236 yards from the championship (Blue) tees. The course plays to a par of 36 on both nines, with a balanced mix of par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s that demand precision, creativity, and strong course management. Five sets of tees—ranging from 5,071 yards at the forward markers to championship length—allow the course to scale effectively for all levels of competition.

Unlike much of Florida’s typically flat landscape, Juliette Falls features significant elevation changes throughout the course, creating a distinctive challenge for golfers. The naturally rolling terrain influences club selection and strategy on nearly every hole, particularly on standout holes such as No. 8, No. 12, No. 13, and No. 15, where dramatic rises and falls add both beauty and complexity to the round.

The front nine introduces players to the course’s diversity, beginning with the par-4 opener, Big Dog, before transitioning into longer tests such as the par-5 All In and the demanding par-4 Dealer’s Choice. The outward nine closes with Reflection Lake, a par-4 that brings water into play and rewards disciplined shot placement.

The back nine continues to test adaptability and nerve. Holes like Re-Tee and Green View emphasize precision off the tee, while Knock-Out and Ocala Trails highlight elevation and narrowing landing areas. The signature par-3 13th, known as The Falls, features a dramatic waterfall backdrop and ranks among the most visually striking holes on the course. The round concludes with Big Dog Challenge, a par-4 finisher that demands a confident final approach.

Built on a sand-based foundation, Juliette Falls is known for firm, fast playing conditions and excellent drainage, allowing the course to remain consistent even after heavy rain. Fairways are generous in places but often tighten near the greens, which are well-protected and subtly contoured, placing a premium on accuracy and touch.

The course was intentionally designed to embrace its natural topography rather than reshape it. By preserving elevation changes and routing holes through the existing landscape, Juliette Falls delivers a dynamic experience in which no two holes feel the same and every round presents fresh challenges.
