FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Matt Munksgard (i.e. Meat), a Pennsylvanian for years in Warren, PA, who broke Cable Hollow scoring records, has decided to enter himself into the On Tour Championship from his new residence in southern Florida.

But miss the Championship?  No way.  Matt has played three tour events and is currently holding first position in the 2005 On Tour Championship when the tourney opens in 1 week.

"I don't think I can explain how I feel," after Meat registered on Saturday evening. "I decided early on this year that I was going to play golf repeatedly and that I would register in as many tournaments as possible. Never in my mind did I ever think twice about playing in such a prestigious tournament."

"I think about the 2005 On Tour Championship every day," Munksgard said, who last played on Saturday at Cheifland Golf & Country Club.  "I am looking forward to finishing the On Tour Championship with such a talented field with players like Rob Fustich and Erin Walker".
