Miller Surges; Downward

May 3, 2005

BELPRE, OH — When one gazes into the eyes of a human being squandering limitless potential, one cannot help but have their heart broken. Within their pupils, one can behold an untouchable and perfect talent. Thus, it is their thoughtless disposal of talent which is truly an intolerable golf game.

On Monday, Scott Miller enter the On Tour Championship in 30th place.  As he continues to surge downwards, one can only help he finds his way back to a respectable status.

"It is not that bad," says Miller.  "Everyone forgets that I took a year off from golf because that 133 in 2003 at Winding Hollow was just too much.  Everyone has to give me a little time to slip back into things.  The number of pars and bogeys have slipped.  I am still playing my game out there."

The fact that Miller has struggled is not heart breaking. The fact that he shoots 110 is not heart breaking. The fact that Miller has withdrawn for the Open Championship twice is also not heart breaking. The fact that Miller has repeatedly defecated on his limitless golf potential and talent, that is heart breaking.
