WESTERVILLE, OH — Kyle Marti teed it up this past weekend at New Albany Links, Clover Valley, and Cumberland Trail to hopefully gain some ground in the On Tour Championship.  The total score started very poor and even had Kyle wondering if it is time to start over.

"It was not good," says Marti. "Especially on Saturday...  That was a nightmare."  Marti continued this golf on Sunday except decided to lay back and play each shot 150 yards.  "Things got better when I scaled back on the swing speed," continued Marti.

Marti last came to Columbus in late October 2004 where he shot 132 at the Players Club.  His return on Saturday resulted in 123 strokes at New Albany Links.

After making the swing adjustment early Sunday morning, Marti dropped another 16 strokes and continued to improve dropping another 9 strokes in the afternoon.

"I think my dreadful full swing has me completely out of position," says Marti. "My game has really turned around with course management and scaling back on my swing.  "Less effort has really resulted in less strokes," said Marti.

Kyle Marti is currently in 27th position with 34.8 points per round.
