Sheiker in 3rd

June 17, 2005

WHEELING, WV — After a 40 point round today at Lindenwood Golf Club south of Pittsburgh, Sheik has moved into 3rd place in the On Tour Championship standings. "There's no way I'm catching Garrett," Sheik said today. "My game is just not there right now; I'm really struggling off the tee. It's hard to score when your tee shots are only going 100-120 yards. The two pars I had today on par fours were on holes where I hit good tee shots; everything else just sucked."

Sheik was thinking of going to St. Louis to find who straightened out Brent's game. "I'm ready to do just about anything. I cannot lose $75 to him again this year. I'm not concerned about taking $20 from Boland on the first hole on Friday, though. I'll hit two seven irons, two putts, then walk over and take two $10 bills from him."

With just under 100 days until Golfapalooza GVIIII, eight Loozers have officially registered. Plenty of others are expected to register, so be sure to reserve your spot soon.
