No Kidding
July 5, 2005
COLUMBUS, OH — Some people just go out and play golf. Some people play golf and get mocked about horrible results. Chris Phillipsen played golf this weekend and found himself saying, "No Kidding", since his latest scorecards are indeed controversal.
Chris has moved into an average of 37.5 points per round after scoring a pair of 57 points over the 4th of July holiday weekend.
"The statistics have me very skeptical," says Captains Club member Greg Garrett. "Chris' best round to date included 6 pars. His last two double that career high. There is clearly something to investigate, but I am not going to call him a cheater just yet."
Chris averaged 92.6 strokes per round before this weekend. His pair of 81's on Saturday and Monday have everyone up in arms asking the same questions. He also has nearly removed all his disgusting double bogeys.
"How can someone turn on a switch to great golf and keep it on?" says John McAninch. "I need to get me some of that."
Chris Phillipsen is in 26th position after the incredible stroke of luck, skill, or neglegence that seems to be undetermined. The 2005 On Tour Championship has passed the half-way point and scheduled to conclude on December 30, 2004. The Red Zone Alert is coming in a few weeks. Jay Dilks of the Captains Club is asking everyone to have fun while they still have time.
