Marti Has Momentum
July 12, 2005
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA — Kyle Marti is on the verge of putting it all together. After a 14th place finish at the 2005 C.S.O.C. and posting this past week his second highest NOOG score of the On Tour Championship, Marti is feeling good about his game.
"The confidence I have right now is amazing. The Mountain Valley course was unbelievably tight and punishing. The courses I'm playing now look like the plains of Kansas to me." Marti was quoted as saying. "Most enjoyable was placing 49 spots and 47 points ahead of my brother Pat Marti. I am indeed the best Marti in the field."
Currently though, Kyle is 60th on the On Tour leader board and maybe more importantly just 4 spots ahead of Pat Marti. When Kyle was asked if the momentum of the tournament championship could carry him through the rest of the On Tour season. He replied, "I expect it too. The only thing that could possibly stop me is my some times inconsistent form and maybe a bottle of Captain Morgan. But I feel I?ve straightened that part of my game out."
Kyle further commented, "I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and the moves I plan to make."
Go Kyle! Indeed your golf game is in rare form.
