Shoulder High
February 16, 2006
OIL CITY, PA — With rules as important as the integrity of the Carl Spackler Open, Jay Dilks would never disrespect the game that he loves even if he must drop on the ladies tee.
"I really believe integrity makes a man", said Dilks. "I also believe in getting up at 7AM on weekends and not having unprotected sex in August and September. I believe in dropping from shoulder high. That is not knee high or even nipple high."
Jay Dilks is part of the an elite group making strides each year to improve the integrity of the handicaps online.
"Anyway, the rules of golf serve a purpose. I am man enough to play from the red tees when declared the drop area." Jay Dilks makes these statements as the Virtual Tournament is underway and the leaderboard is expected to be tighter than ever.
"Our handicapping success can be attributed to Jay and his focus on the rules," says buddy Mike Trojanowski.
The 2006 Virtual Tournament has 45 days under its belt. Scott Zavinski, who has posted 28 rounds in 45 days has first position.
