Career Low

September 27, 2005

AMBRIDGE, PA — Rob Fustich, the player from Pennsylvania, that narrowly escaped the Al Cveric Outfit in 2004, dominated Stonecrest Golf Club on Sunday when he shot a career low 82 strokes.

It was his fourth 82 in his 5 year career and second 82 at Stonecrest.

"It felt great to bring Stonecrest down to it's knees for the afternoon," says Fustich.  "I really think this might be a start to an incredible run."

Fustich carded 3 birdies on the front nine and shot 37 strokes.  He followed up the back nine with a Fustich-like 45 strokes.  The 3 birdies is a Fustich record.

"Robby is coming along," says former college roommate Chad Long. "Maybe he has removed the loop in his swing.  There is no telling what we can expect if that was gone."

Fustich also removed all triple bogeys from his scorecard.  Players have not seen that kind of golf since May.

The 2005 On Tour Championship completes in a little over 3 months.  Although football season has begun, players continue to post scorecards at a record pace.  There are 18 days left in the Red Zone.
