WOW!
October 30, 2005
DUBLIN, OH — "Wow!" says Jason Ridgeway. "No way," says John McAninch. "Which tees?" says Jeff Miller.
Matt Pritchard shot a very surprising 9-over par at Tartan Fields in Dublin, Ohio. He fired 66 points that clearly stands as his best score ever.
"It was completely setup by 3 birdies," says Pritchard. "I realize that his type of score might not be reasonable to most, but it is reality."
Matt dropped six shots with 2 triple bogeys on holes 5 and 10. His 9-point birdies occured on holes 9, 14 and 17.
"I had a great finish. I went for it and it paid off," Pritchard said. "To score under par on the par 5's was a very good effort. This isn't easy."
Matt is totally focused on preserving his Carl Spackler integrity. So far he may have won a few mind games.
