ASHTABULA, OH — The Carl Spackler Open Championship, No. 1 Amateur Golf Tournament, on Tuesday said they are celebrating the 2 year anniversary of the Pokey Whipped Rehabilation Program (PWRP). Since Pokey took over, he has added to already a very strong management structure by adding a Sergerant of Arms by the name of Don McFarland.
Pokey was previously a Captain's Club member, which gave him partial control of the annual tournament. His promotion a few years was completed with his new award for 2003. "It truely adds value to what I preach", said Davis. "Bitch, quit doggin me is the reality all players deal with and this award shows my commitment to the PWRP."
"I have been excited about the opportunity to mold the field. It's a shame that a position like this is needed, but I glad that I can help. Carl Spackler shares my vision that every man should be able to compete for the beloved Golden Jacket and not kept on relationship lockdown."
The Carl Spackler Open is scheduled to begin on June 10, 2004. As the summer continues to roll on, players continue to obtain that 1 day kitchen pass, play golf and post scorecards.
