WARREN, PA — Jim Campbell of Warren, PA has signed a national letter-of-intent to play golf at the 2004 Carl Spackler Open, Captains Club Member Don Creighton announced today. "Our Little Buddy is one of our most excited rookies and we are always happy to see he is prioritizing his life properly."

Jim Campbell did not sign with just a check.  He inserted an important letter to the field.  "Thanks for your patience.  I apologize for not being able to commit until just now.  The way these companies work the vacations is ridiculous.  I've decided that being in a drunken stuper and golfing for 3 days is well worth jeopardizing this pathetic source of income that I call a job.   This will be my first year attending the tournament.  I've been having a problem qualifying for "Q" school and your invitation to the Carl Spackler Open was right on time.  My golfing leaves alot to be desired however, I am looking more forward to "perfecting" my puking, socializing and hangover skills."

Upon listening to this enlightening message read aloud, Matt Davis jumped out of his chair with excitement.  "That is what I need around here.  Someone that can prioritize, get wasted, puke and worry about a job later.  I am immediately promoting my Little Buddy into my special club."

The Carl Spackler Open is set to kickoff on June 10 with Round 1. There are 40 players signed as of today.  Jim is the 8th player to sign from Warren, PA and the 14th player from the state of Pennsylvania.
