COLUMBUS, OH — Scott Miller, playing a course he "feels awkward on," shot an 30-over 102 last Sunday to take a commanding four-point lead over Greg Long in the 2002 On Tour Championship. Miller scored 36 points in Parkersburg, WV.  As for the leaderboard, Greg Long is currently in 2nd place followed by Eric Kaniecki of West Virginia and then Chris Lashley of North Carolina.

"A 102 may look real easy, but I didn't take any nines either," Miller said. "But Parkersburg was a golf course that I felt comfortable under wet conditions. If these greens were hard and firm, I would not feel a whole lot about my chances to lead the tournament. I struggled but ended up with a great score today only because I putted so well and the ball stuck."

"I hope we all have a chance to play this weekend, but I can't see these golf courses in Ohio taking much more rain," said Miller. "It gets to the point where two guys can hit a shot from the same place and the ball's going to slip and slide and do different things."

Eric Kaniecki commented, "Scott knows for me to catch him I've got to score lots of points. I'm sure if he putts as well as he done so far, he'll be awful hard to catch."
