COLUMBUS, OH — Kevin Long had two consecutive holes with bogey to surge past no one on Saturday at Indian Springs Golf Club.  His four bogeys were his only scoring holes on this soggy morning.  Big Kev scored only 8 points, however was glad to take the 14 bonus points for the course slope.

"If you would have asked me earlier in the week if I was going to play terrible, I would have laughed at you," Big Kev said. "I was really looking forward to playing well during the weekend.  I felt good and the course conditions were even better."

Greg Long carded a season high 39 points on Friday despite shooting a 85.  "I was so close to getting it going," he said. "It was just one of those days where I hit a lot of good putts that didn't go in, and then I hit atrocious putts, as well.  Despite my misfortunes, I was three holes from a very good round.

Slick is still trying to get his game in shape after massive reconstruction to his subpar golf swing. But there was reason for hope on Friday since he was playing for pride.
