WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Rick Dosky fired 39 points on Wednesday to open the practice round.  He shot 3 bogeys and one par to take a strong hold into the 2004 Carl Spackler Open.

"I played well today," says Dosky.  "I really like this NOOG system."

Don Crile and Jeff Cowan fired a pair of 48 pointers as they also make a strong statement going into the 4th annual tournament.

Tom Fowble, winner of the 2003 Open, scored 44 points.

Round 1 begins today as 48 players are set to tee up at 12:30PM EST.  The field is scheduled to begin with their annual meeting at 9:15AM.
