Dieterle's Replacement

September 22, 2004

TERRA ALTA, WV — Bill Kolibash has been selected to replace Max Dieterle in the four-man best ball which begins tomorrow at noon.  Is another Squib-like performance only days away?

"I am excited that Squib has decided to return to alcohol and Golfapalooza this year," says close friend Gus Sokos.  "We have our work cut out for us without Dieterle, but who needs him anyway."

Kolibash adds about 5 strokes per round by replacing Dieterle. "We are excited about Bill and the potential he brings to the team," says Spraguer.  "His putting, long iron play, and tequila tolerance will be a great addition." Bill begged to differ. "While a beer or two on the course helps take the edge off and actually helps my putting a little bit, I will not be joining in on the tequila. I've seen what it's done to some Loozers; I'm going to Alpine to win the MELC and the sunrises will not help."

The team will drink 1.75 liters of tequila on Thursday during their round.  Last year, the group returned to the 18th tee very smashed.
