TERRA ALTA, WV — Brian Flanagan begins his quest for destiny this morning.  His destiny is his second Golfapalooza championship in 4 years.  Brian Flanagan is scheduled to tee up at 12 noon today at Alpine Lake Resort.

"This is my yearly pinnacle," says Flanagan.  "I just need to get off quickly this year.  The first two holes must be par.  I need to put the heat on the field early."

Flanagan joins several members from Spackler in this year's Golfapalooza field.  Players include Jason Watson, Rick Dosky, Greg Long, Greg Garrett, Pat Boland, Gus Sokos, and Bill Bateson.

Flanagan returns to Golfapalooza after finishing 5th last year and 9th in 2002.  He finished a disappointing 25th place at the 2004 Carl Spackler Open in June.

Weather reports are looking to the best in years with sunny skies and low 70's throughout the 54-hole tournament.  First round scorecards are scheduled for posting around 8PM on Thursday.
