WARREN, PA — Bill Dick, John Dick, and Kyle Marti have all signed national letter of intents to play golf at 2005 Carl Spackler Open, announced today by the Captains Club.

Kyle Marti, a native of Warren, PA, is currently on tour in University Park, PA. Individually, Marti is a national selection this season while being named the Warren Times Observer "Golf Made Difficult" player of the year.  Marti is best known for his 59-stroke finish during the 2003 Carl Spackler Open.  His 59 strokes were made on the last 5 holes.

Last year, John Dick positioned himself in the Top 5 after chipping into the final hole of play during Round 1.  He also led the 2003 Carl Spackler Open Championship after Round 1. "A truly great player," said Jason Watson of the Captains Club. "He works very hard for his accomplishments and well deserves the rewards."

Bill Dick returns after escaping the Carl Spackler Outfit by a narrow 7 points.  He placed 47th and returns with a new set of NOOG points.  "This is my year to shine. I am not about to travel across country to Pottsville and have fun. This is for the Golden Jacket and a very large purse. I don?t expect to finish poorly as I did last season with probably an extra 3 points for par. I going to keep my head and bring the trophy and jacket back to Dallas."

Bill Dick adds the state of Texas to the fast growing field of players.  He is the 32nd player overall to sign for this year's major.  John Dick and Kyle Marti enter their third straight major championship.  They sign as the 7th and 8th player from the state of Pennsylvania.
