Dieterle Back In Action
July 10, 2002
COLUMBUS, OH — Max "Buck Fever" Dieterle is back on tour after nearly 8 months off. "I just wanted to take some time off and enjoy my Most Valuable Loozer Award. Life moves pretty fast; you've got to stop and smell the roses every once in awhile" said Dieterle in a recent interview. In addition to congratulating himself on his MVL, Dieterle has spent the last several months enjoying his newborn child and recruiting for Golfapalooza 2002. "I'm a "G" figurehead now and I know that the Founding Fathers are expecting alot of me. We've already signed the promising young rookie Jeff Blankenburg, and I may have a few more surprise entries."
Dieterle has also taken the time to keep up with the Gmail Loop, although he admits it is sometimes difficult to find the courage to jump into the fray. "I love the Gmail Loop," says Max, "sometimes I laugh so hard I'm afraid I might rupture one of my internal organs. But with guys like Brent and McFarland firing off so many hysterical and stimulating messages, I get a little intimidated, and that holds me back. One my goals for this year is to get over that hump; I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm funny too."
Interested fans can catch up with Max this weekend at Columbus's Longaberger Golf Club.
