New Jersey Nick Ready

SKILLMAN, NJ — Open Championship rookie Nick Casale is fired up. Casale has high expectations for this debut in June. Casale stated ?being that I?m a 1st time attendee?I initially look forward to having a good time and catching up with old friends. As the tournament progresses I fully expect to beat Andrew Cohen like a rented mule! I will leave just enough of him conscious to see me out drive him.?
When asked how he feels of his fellow member?s expectations of him, Casale snorted ?I could care less of their expectations of me. Most don?t know me so they will probably think I?m going to suck. By the end of the season they will be the ones sucking.?
Casale will be competing against friends: Chad Long and Glenn Hoffert and doesn?t seem worried about their presence. Casale commented that ?friendship never gets in the way. I haven?t played golf with Chad in years so he?s of no consequence. Glenn and I are evenly matched. I will be gunning for him.?
About Rob Fustich, Casale was less gracious in his remarks. ?I heard Fustich?s game has really taken a turn for the worse and kitchen passes are even worse. He was the one that got me into this damn game. I?m going to make him cry worse than a white woman if he ever returns to this great event.?
Casale was asked about his off season training and remarked ?I have gained 20 lbs in body mass.? This beat reporter was unable to determine if that was 20 lbs of muscle or fat. Casale did seem to have a cheeseburger stomach.
Casale further commented ?I have been taking additional measures to ensure a high level of play but they are secret.? When asked if the rumors of his driving prowess are true, Casale stated ?Just a rumor?not sure who mentioned that to you but I should speak to them about that.?
Casale?s last thought was ?I think Mickelson wins another major this year.? Thanks Nick. But Phil declined to attend this year?s major at Mountain Valley.
