Is Your Profile Updated?
April 4, 2005
POTTSVILLE, PA — The largest golf trip in America, the Carl Spackler Open, today announces the expansion of the Spackler News Network. As the tournament continues to grow, the Captains Club has increased the services of the "highly regarded" SNN reporting and asks everyone to updated their profiles.
"We are very excited about our Spackler News Network and what it brings to our tournament," says SNN anchor Jay Dilks. "We have expanded our financial budget for our lovely network and hope it continues to exceed expectations."
Tournament week is expected to include additional on-course footage, press conferences for both pre-game and post-game, and better hardware.
The anchor will also carry a "cheatsheet" with them this year complete with up-to-date statistics, player equipment, and other funny information. The Captains Club asks each player to review their profile information and update where necessary.
"There are a lot of 'unknowns' in the database," says camera man Tom Fowble. "To ensure a blast throughout the tournament, this information is important to our network."

The collected information will allow the Captains Club to make the week enjoyable for the entire field of players. "Everyone appears to be looking forward to our 5th Major Championship," says Greg Long. "I can assure you we are doing everything possible to exceed your expectations once again."
