POTTSVILLE, PA — Players now only have 8 days to send in their final payment, member Kevin Long, Sr. announced in his press release from the Spackler Business Office.  Long substituted for our Chief Financial Officer because Rick Dosky is extremely busy with collections.  "Prompt payments are critical now, as the Captains Club will be sending the remaining payments into Mountain Valley and the River Inn on May 3rd," said Big Kev.

Players with a remaining balance on May 1 can assume the Spackler Business Office accepts their cancellation.  "We have a few potential rookies that really want a shot at the Golden Jacket," says a stern Long.  "Some of these guys are really looking forward to a cancellation so they can get a shot."

As of April 22, 22 of the 68 players have a zero balance, and 68% of the entire balance due has been received.  "I certainly hope that I don?t have to go house-to-house again this year, because it puts me in a really bad mood," said VP of Player Discipline, Don Creighton.  "I really don?t think I?ll have to do that this year though, since the majority of the balance is in.  Just get your check in to Dosky this week, and there won?t be any problems," he added.

"I really think that we?re doing very well this year with all of the deadlines," said Chairman Greg Long.  "I just want to make sure that we get a reminder out to everyone, because I know that they?re all extremely busy at home and at work.  These guys have to be giving their wives, girlfriends or mommies a lot of special attention right about now, since the tournament is only 47 days away," added Long.
