POTTSVILLE, PA — Mike Davis once told this beat reporter that the Spackler "...is about getting you to think about something other than your own golf game..." Member Billy Smalls has shown that kind of unselfish attitude by bringing a unique bonus to the 2005 Carl Spackler Open itinerary... a rare introduction to ?Mr. Yeungling? himself.

Smalls is a Hooters manager and more importantly a man of influence within the business world.  Yeungling beer is proudly kept on tap by the Hooters franchise. Smalls discovered through his sources in the Sales Department that ?Mr. Yeungling? has a sweet spot for Hooters girls.

Leveraging off of this information, Smalls will bring and present a t-shirt autographed by all the Hooters Girls to ?Mr. Yeungling?. In return for such a generous gift, ?Mr. Yeungling? will meet everyone participating in the Yeungling Brewery tour. It also is anticipated that ?Mr. Yeungling? will be taking out the group later in the evening for something very special.

This kind of bonus activity is what makes the Spackler more attractive year after year. Captains Club member Jeremy Myers was so excited upon hearing the news that he immediately left for the bathroom.
