WILLIAMSBURG, VA — The Carl Spackler Open played its tournament practice round today in Williamsburg, VA.  Jason Watson and Brian Flanagan led the charge with 34 and 32 points respectively.  "I really did not play well today", said Flanagan.  "I really think the woods will stay in the bag tommorrow."

Matt Davis on the other hand played very badly.  Matt scored 3 points on the front nine.  "I got my bad shots out of my system today", said Davis.  "Hopefully things will be getting better with some sleep."

The Carl Spackler Open will be begin Round 1 tommorrow afternoon at noon.  All 18 players that signed a letter of intent have arrived in Williamsburg to play.  Jeff Cowan is the tournament honoree and will deliver his speech to the field tonight.
