LEBANON, OH — The Captains Club announced today that the Best Western Monroe Inn in Lebanon will host the players of the 2015 Carl Spackler Open. The hotel was chosen for value, but more importantly for its locale to both the golf course and Clubhouse Grill.

"We are happy with the Best Western and its ability to host potentially 60 golfers inside 30 non-smoking rooms," says Captains Club member Chad Long. "Everyone that knows me knows that I should not be driving a vehicle anywhere. The Best Western is reasonable walking distance to nightlife and 4 miles from the clubhouse."

The Best Western has an indoor pool and spa. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.

"i have a little secret to share," says Captains Club member Jason Ridgeway. "The hotel has 29 rooms with two beds. We selected the venue knowing this information. It is pretty amazing that our 2015 roster requires 29 rooms with two beds."

The hotel serves a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. "Expecting biscuits, fruit, juices, yogart, cereal, milk, coffee, and breads each morning", says Long.

The Best Western is located just off Interstate 75. There are a number of restaurants and retail stores within a short walk from the hotel.

"The largest issue for 2015 is the location of the awards presentation," says Long. "The Awards Dinner and Presentation will be held at the golf course on Sunday for the second time in 15 years."

The golf event has secured 29 rooms with two double beds. A participant option for Wednesday night lodging was offered in March 2015.

The 2015 Carl Spackler Open will be played at Shaker Run Golf Club. The entire event will be managed within a 5 mile radius. The 4-day event will begin with its practice round on Thursday, June 25. There are 59 to 60 participants expected for the 15th annual golf tournament.
