BINGHAMTON, NY — The Captains Club continued to release details surrounding the participant options for the 2012 Carl Spackler Open. The process, which is available in March 2012, will collect lots of information including apparel orders. This year's apparel choices include caps, shirts, and umbrellas.

The traditional cap option returns for a 7th straight year. "The event will offer caps again this year," says senior member Chris Milam. "Golfers can order a replacement cap. They can also order a black or white cap. Guys who have attended at least three events can purchase a blue cap."

The event still has several logo umbrellas in stock. The event will offer logo umbrellas at a rock bottom price of $10 per umbrella. There are both red and blue umbrellas in stock.

The Captains Club will be purchasing logo golf shirts for the first time in 5 years. "We are collecting an order for golf shirts," says Milam. "The shirts are dry-fit and wrinkle-free." The 3M Scotchgard protection and 100% polyester sport shirt is designed to wick moisture away from the skin.

"The sample shirts are excellent," says Milam. "There are multiple colors with logo on the breast. The shirts are a very affordable $18 per shirt."

The participant option process will be available to golfers during the month of March. There are a number of options with some having fees involved and some preference options with no fees. A collection of roommates and playing partners will be completed as part of the process.
