A Green Eagle

HOUSTON, TX — Spackler rookie Brad Green charged into the 2007 Virtual Tournament 6th position after a 69-point effort at Memorial Park Golf Course near downtown Houston, TX.

Green, who is expected to promoted to member this June in Michigan, began his day poorly, but added style with an eagle three at the par-five 8th hole.

"I'm trying to stick to my game plan," said Green of his 16-point eagle. "I've been working hard on my game and it's finally coming through this week. I'm trying to be patient and that's what I'm going to try and do Michigan."

Brad Green, who works with Matt Pritchard, played his first Spackler round with Jason "Randy" Watson. The round proved good for Green with 69 points and bad for Watson as he continues to struggle with just 54 points.

"Sounds like Watson is pumping up his points," said Matt Davis from Pittsburgh, PA. "He tears up Texas for six months and then convienently starts stock piling points. I do not like this one bit."

Matt Davis is presently in second position and looking upward at Jason Ridgeway with just 1 point between them. The Virtual Tournament is expecting a high volume of rounds this weekend across the country.
