HERNDON, VA — Andrew has helped lead the Carl Spackler Open to another record level.

This summer, he'll be taking his game to the level above that.  A level that will remain consistent and not be in jeopardy of a collapse from a strong gust of wind.  A collaspe like in the 2004 Carl Spackler Open.

Breese, the No. 45 player in the amateur world, recently signed a national letter of intent to play golf at the 2005 Carl Spackler Open.

"Breese is without question one of the top players in the state of Virginia, and will be a contender for the Golden Jacket this summer," Vice President of Tee Times/Pairings Kevin Long, Jr. said in a press release. "I am thrilled that Breezer will be joining us in Pottsville. He brings a great deal of talent, experience and success to the Spackler squad."

"When I read the invitation, I felt confident with the Captains Club, the guys, and especially the golf course itself," Breese said. "It felt like another home."

Breese is a second year member returning from his rookie year at Tanglewood Park.  Breese started Round 1 in 4th place stunning the field of players.  He scored 51 NOOG points.  "My great start came at the end of my round," says Andrew. "A 16-point birdie would help anyone."

Breese returned on Friday to disappointing 16 points and falling 14 spots.  "He fell on the Leaderboard like Enron stock," says 2004 Champ Steve Hoden.  "It was really embarrassing to him."

The Breezer returned for a final round on Saturday with worse conditions and another set of disappointing results.  He scored 24 points slipping another 14 spots down the Leaderboard into 30th position.  By 2'oclock on Saturday, Breese was broken down and just glad he was not wearing an Outfit.

The 2005 Carl Spackler Open begins in 124 days.  Breese signs as the 59th player and a record 10th player from the state of Virginia.
