Invites Mailed in 3 Days

November 12, 2004

POTTSVILLE, PA — In three short days, the Captains Club will release the most inticipated and exciting invitation yet.  An invitation that sends the Captains Club home to the state of Pennsylvania.

The invitation will be online for the first time in history to lower overall costs.  It will provide extensive information and surprises.  The 5th major championship is scheduled for June 9-11, 2005 at Mountain Valley Golf Course.  The cost is a record low $324 with a manditory non-refundable deposit by January 3, 2005.

"If I had enough clothes, I would start packing today," says Mike Davis.  "This will be my 3rd major and aiming to beat Slick this time.  I am very excited."

The business office will email the invitation to the addresses registered in the website and also provide a link on the homepage.  An expected 58 verbal commitments have been received by our office.  Rob Fustich announced last week that he plans to withdrawl due to a violation with the Red Zone Alert.

The 2005 Carl Spackler Open will be played in Barnesville, PA.  The golf course has 27 holes and tournament requires only two rounds of 27 holes.  Sources close to the Captains Club are communicating course yardage will be "shortest in history" and environment is mountainous with a heavy forest surrounding each hole.
