Dilly Signs as 37th

January 15, 2005

DUBLIN, OH — The Captains Club has announced the signing of Andrew Dill of Dublin, Ohio to a letter of intent for the 2005 Carl Spackler Open. Andrew is the 13th rookie to sign for the 54 hole golf tournament. He is also the 12th player from Ohio to sign and 37th overall.

"We are really proud to recruit such a quality young man as Dilly," Jamie Myers said. "He?s a very seasoned veteran of high calibre amateur golf. Being part of such a great field should be a big asset coming in because we have very high goals at our major championship."

Myers continued, "We?ve been impressed with Dilly's sound fundamental golf swing. He really puts plows through the ball. In addition, he?s got a very good short game with a nice putting touch and his course management is also the best I've seen in years.  We are expecting great things."

The 2005 Carl Spackler Open begins in 144 days.  The tournament field is expected to reach another record size as players continue to sign.
